Local heroes!
Well bravo to local coffee chain The Boston Tea Party! Even though it substantially affected their sales, they've made a stand on single use plastic, not only cups but all their milk cartons too.

With 5 branches in Bristol, and their reach spreading to other towns, it's a very good reason to patronise them over the other great behemoth chains.
Re-usable cups are now readily available (if you're in Clifton Village, support Smaller Footprints on Regent Street) and most drinks outlets will give you a standard 25p off your drink of choice if you present one. My bamboo one travels with me everywhere so I never get caught out.
Here at Chandos Clinic we have been using cardboard water cups for over a year now. We then recycle them, although Barbara has been using them to grow seedlings in her polytunnel!
